Gradulated from Ferris State University (then Ferris College) Michigan in 1948

Worked as Bridge Design Engineer for the Michigan State Highway Department
from 1948 to 1955

Worked as Assistant County Engineer from 1955 to 1959, doing all Road & Bridge
design and supervision of construction.

Passed Michigan State exam for Professional Engineer in 1957.

Worked as County Engineer from 1959 to 1979, responsible for all Road and Bridge
Design, Maintenance and Supervision of Construction

Passed Michigan State exam for Professional Land Surveyor in 1978

Started my own Engineering Consulting business in 1979, and designed and supervised
construction of many bridge and road projects in addition to many land surveys until 1984.

In 1980 received license for Professional Engineer for Florida.

Worked as City Engineer/Public Works Director for the City of Sanibel, Florida from 1984 to 1992.

In 1995 received license for Professional Engineer for Maine.

Did drawings for my son (a Professional Land Surveyor in Michigan)
until he decided to move to Florida and work for a larger firm in 2004.
